It’s finally here. *drumrolls* Welcome to Kure-nai – The Last Volume. Yup, you heard right. This is the first chapter in volume 10 the last volume. I know, I know…I’m sad too. But the good thing is that when it rains it pours; we always end up releasing a batch then releases disappear (heh) so since the rain has started we’ll release regularly until the end.

Much thanks to Corey who pointed us to a raw site and whoever those guys are, JAC and the fans are grateful and happy. 本当に、ありがとう　ございます。*bows* (Need to check them for TB because we’ve ran out of those too. -__-‘).

Lastly, thanks to our translator js06, and here’s a note from his desk as to why we have two chapter 48s:

“I translated from the volume and the chapter numbers in the volumes are one behind the ones in the magazine, so this is Chapter 48 even though the last one was too.”

I rambled so much that I almost forgot the download link. ^^”

Ah yes…for Tegami Bachi fans. The flu had me down for a whole week (still recovering), so no Bachi till about Thursday or Friday this week. Gomen ne~

Ok folks. Good news and bad news. The good – we caught up. \o/ Ch 49 was released in February (no raws yet), so that’s good. Bad news – its a monthly. 😛

This chapter was so cruel – it started off fluffy and humorous and ended like…

You know what I love about Kure-nai….the fact that the arcs don’t stretch on for long. This one was short but oh so good and I’ll miss Usui, but I get the feeling we’ll see him again. 😀

Our translator (js06) already has ch 48 ready but I won’t be able to do it until tomorrow night, so you can expect it on Thurs morning. But guess what…he’s translated the first chapter of the Kure-nai light novel (from which the manga is based). The translation is here at Baka-Tsuki and its a novel I’ve always been interested in so its cool to see a bit of it. He’s uncertain if he’ll continue but you can still check it out (I definitely will).

In the middle of TS’ing this, I got majorly distracted by LINSANITY. If you have no idea what I’m talking about….just google ‘Jeremy Lin’.

*bawls* Finally! Can anyone sense my excitement? Its a small fanbase but to those who have waited, thank you for your patience. Just a few house-keeping matters:

1. To Sai the Shaman, our raw-provider up till ch 42 – JAC appreciates it and we love you forever. Its sad that real life took you away from the tedious joyful task of scanning Kurenai and we’ll miss you. *glomp*

2. And a big thank you to Vicissitude who is now our raw-provider for Kurenai. Already he(she….I need to find out) has given us chapters 43 – 48 (and I’ve cleaned up to 45 already) and I think that with this, we will catch up very soon.The raws are excellent Vic (can I call you Vic?) and we look forward to working with you while your real life allows it.

3. And finally, thanks to js06 who still loves translating this…I’m sure he’s as happy as I am but he’s the cool, silent type who doesn’t say much….but I’m sure he’s happy. 😀

I choose….meat! I like meat and right now the brown blouse I’m wearing reminds me of a cow, which reminds me of….meat! I also like js06 and Sai the Shaman. If you don’t know why I like them, then it means you haven’t been reading the credits page. Naughty, naughty….reflect on your actions!!!

Yep…you read right. Its forty-one POINT five. 😀 Its a very cute special that was done before the start of a new arc. I think the mangaka just needed a break from serious for a while.

Ah, you’ll notice that the font for ‘loud’ text is different. It wasn’t until I’d ts’d half the chapter that I realized I was using the loud font for Bloody Monday and not for Kurenai. I blame Mister Death, who unofficially passed the BM scanlation gig to me.
