    To our faithful leader/founder – Mr. Death – HAPPY EARTHSTRONG! Or rather – Happy Birthday – from the entire staff at JAC and the fans (yes…you guys, say happy birthday or I’ll kill ya).

    We, your not so faithful staff members, can never get enough of your douchebag ways and when you tell us the many ways you want to kill us or how we’ll die…it gives us this warm, fuzzy feeling that’s probably our blood being released after you stab us  that makes us appreciate you.

    So to the guy who precleans everything (except Kurenai and Black Lagoon – my babies) and who is a little too obsessed with One Piece, Tegami Bachi and the Grim Reaper…we hope you live to see many many more years. MANY! Since we know how much you long to fully embrace your alias, we’ll cruelly wish that it evades you for a long time. We need you to preclean and typeset anyway.

    Now, as it relates to the extra pages and epilogue which appeared in Volume 9 of BL, our translator – js06 – has agreed to do it ‘eventually’. Naturally the weekly/monthly series he’s doing will take priority but we have his word that he’ll do it so the next step is to wait. JS posts like 2 or more scripts per day plus he has school so I won’t be pressuring him about it.

    I’ve told him to not make it exclusive to JAC, reason being that the current raws out are only for perusal and not scanlations. The ‘book-like’ format in which it was scanned makes it unsuitable for scanlations, so I won’t be using that. I’ll be on the look-out for a better raw, but anyone is free to use his script and produce whatever quality scan they want.

    Lastly, the volume will  be released by Viz Media in July of this year: Click Me This fact actually makes me very reluctant to scanlate it even if a raw does come out. JAC encourages all readers to purchase the volume when it is available in your area, because these people kinda need money too. So I personally think that if you really want it…you should just get your own copy in July.

  • Note to International Scanlators

    This note isn’t for all int’l scanlators of course. Just the ones who use JAC’s scans under the pretense it’s theirs.

    We work hard to scanlate manga and myself in particular, work hard to redraw manga. Please don’t take JAC’s scans…erase the English and slap your translation in…then credit yourselves as if you edited the entire thing. It’s difficult for us to apply the ‘law’ to what we do, considering the legalities behind this ‘hobby’. But that does not give any of you the right to use our scans that way without even having the courtesy to say ‘Hey, I wasn’t the one who cleaned it.’

    So in case it is said that JAC has never taken a stance on this, we’ll say it now: Our scanlations are not to be used by international scanlators.

    If it’s raws that we alone have, then you can ask us and we’ll gladly provide you with it; after all it’s not only English-speaking people who can use photoshop. If you’d like to use the English translation, then we will link you to the translator and hell…we’d even ask them for you. There’s nothing wrong with working together.

    So for future reference, please adhere to our request. Otherwise we’ll start watermarking our releases which is not something I really want to do.

    YOSH! Here it is. Thanks for waiting. Had to get our sweet HQ raws from Sai_the_Shaman (rockstar!!), but due to certain circumstances I had to use two pages from Raw Paradise (can anyone guess which two? XD). So thanks to Raw Paradise as well, who rescued me from a potential delayed release since our rockstar is on vacation. Thanks as usual to js06 who had this translated from last year.  Which reminds me:

    HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM JAC! WE APPRECIATE YOUR CONTINUED SUPPORT OF OUR FREE SCANLATIONS.

    Please remember to not upload this release to sites that require a premium account to download manga. Downloading and reading with CDisplay is the best way to go, or mangatoshokan (?) that Mister Death recommends. Or anywhere but ‘that premium place’. Well, enough uneccesary rambling (that 80% of you probably won’t read anyway). Here ya go:
